History
We first started our business way back in 1947 in East Chicago, IN, when Charles "Chuck" and Irene Basso decided to venture into the bar and restaurant business.
The bar remained in East Chicago until 1960. The bar in Hammond, IN. first opened in 1959. Chuck and Irene operated both bars for one year and then decided to sell the bar in East Chicago, and stay at the current location in Hammond.
